What to eat and what not to eat on your wedding day to feel beautiful

Wedding day list: the hairdresser arrives at 12:00, photographer at 14:00, flowers at 15:00 .... What do you forget? The food! Some brides forget to eat and others avoid it for fear of bloating, but the truth is the key to looking better that day is to use food as fuel and eat often.

Breakfast is still a very important meal - it can either make or break your day.

Nobody likes a "sluggish" bride: do yourself a favor and eat a light breakfast. With all the excitement and feeling of the day, you need to start with breakfast to help you keep going and shine. The My Dreamful Wedding team recommends peanut butter / tahini toast and seasonal fruit, fruit yogurt or a small wholemeal bun with light cream cheese. The whole grain-fat combination will activate you without bloating and will help you fight the nausea that could come with butterflies before the wedding.

Drink a light drink.

This is your day, so do not hesitate to enjoy a few drinks with your guests. On the other hand, it could lead to dehydration, which is the last thing you want.

Some alcohol-related tips to keep in mind on the big day. Some things to remember are how much you drink and what endurance you have in the drink. You would not want to miss the important points of your big day because you drank more during the ceremony.

The biggest tip if you want to drink, drink water and eat food between drinks. Alcohol can dehydrate you, so making sure you drink water regularly with the alcoholic beverage of your choice is very important. Dehydration can cause dizziness, headaches, red skin, fatigue and weakness. If you are worried about all this, skipping alcohol until the evening may be best for you so that you can be fully present on your wedding day.

Eat with your guests.

A good rule of thumb: every time your guests eat, you should eat with them. Even a few bites can help you dance through the night.

Plenty of water.

Water is the essence of beauty. Aim for eight cups of water on your wedding day and two days before. Dehydration leads to dull skin. To stay radiant, continue to drink and eat foods full of water such as cucumbers and citrus fruits.
